Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Chemung County, New York. The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
