Trailer driver — Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trailer driver in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. The job is at a busy distribution depot. You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing Overtime paid at a premium rate.
