Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sherburne County, Minnesota. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
