Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
