Refrigeration service engineer • Lowndes County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Lowndes County, Georgia. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. The role involves braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms 1+ years on the tools preferred.
