Structural MIG welder wanted in East Renfrewshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
