Ideal candidate: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe.
