Lift maintenance fitter • Randolph County, Alabama

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Randolph County, Alabama. You will work at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
