Tyre bay technician — City of Roanoke

Join our team: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. You will replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts. Requirements: • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
