Site safety steward — Monmouth County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Monmouth County, New Jersey. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
