Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Kiri Kasama, Jigawa State. The role involves: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦10,500 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
