Quality assurance assistant wanted in Androscoggin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Androscoggin County, Maine. You will work on a garment production line. You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection On a typical shift you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
