We are recruiting: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Dutchess County, New York. Day to day you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up. You should have: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
