Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely 1+ years on the tools preferred.
