Immediate opening: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter You will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
