Lift technician wanted in Midlothian

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
