Aluminium tig welder wanted in Miller County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Miller County, Georgia. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Full-time, day shift.
