Vacancy available: precision welder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Anderson County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
