Cnc turning machinist • Presque Isle County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Presque Isle County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
