Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Six days a week, one day off.
