Vacancy available: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Washington County, Virginia. You will be based at a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Day to day you will fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant.
