Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Adams County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Adams County, Ohio. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
