Bar bender and fixer • Cheshire East, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cheshire East, England. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
