Urgent requirement: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Buchanan County, Virginia. The job is at a busy distribution centre. The role involves log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics. You should have: • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
