Safety inspector • Bagwai, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Bagwai, Kano State. You will work at a manufacturing plant. The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
