Stainless steel welder — Dickey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Dickey County, North Dakota. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
