Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in La Plata County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $6,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
