Concrete worker wanted in Dubuque County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Dubuque County, Iowa. The job is in a residential housing project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
