Powder coating technician • Borough of Halton, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Borough of Halton, England. You will work in a busy paint shop. On a typical shift you will mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
