Floor screeder — Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor screeder in Knox County, Maine. Day to day you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 6+ years on the tools preferred.
