Mechanical press operator wanted in Perquimans County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours.
