Now hiring: estate gardener (Vermont)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an estate gardener in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will work at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
