Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Whitley County, Indiana. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
