Scaffolding labourer — Scotland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Scotland County, North Carolina. Day to day you will tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Full-time with occasional weekends.
