Plastering hand • Larue County, Kentucky

Join our team: we are hiring a plastering hand in Larue County, Kentucky. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Day to day you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
