Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Fulton County, Indiana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
