UPVC welding machine operator — Cumberland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Cumberland County, Kentucky. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
