Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Chase County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals Meals and transport allowance provided.
