Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Orange County, New York. The job is on a new-build development. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
