Protective coatings painter — Alleghany County

Now hiring: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. Your main tasks: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Full-time, day shift.
