Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Gilmer County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
