Furnace operator • City of Waynesboro, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $11,750 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
