Urgent requirement: concrete worker (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Effingham County, Illinois. The job is at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
