Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Harmon County, Oklahoma. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
