Panel welder wanted in Montague County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Montague County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
