Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
