Safety officer — Santa Rosa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Santa Rosa County, Florida. The role involves: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
