Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Grant County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
