Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Brown County, Texas. You will be based on commercial flat-roof projects. Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Your main tasks: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
