Domestic gas engineer wanted in Essex

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Essex, England. On the job you will handle: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
